Protect vulnerable areas from ionizing radiation with this lightweight,
easy-to-integrate solution. The BAT shield, patent pending, significantly
reduces radiation exposure to the breast, thyroid, chest, and spine, providing
radiation protection where the standard vest does not.1 The BAT shield is a
supplemental garment suitable for both men and women that can be used
over or under any existing apron, with the goal of reducing the risk of breast
cancer and other radiation-associated cancers in healthcare workers.
